Depending on the product, we recommend the following number of photovoltaic modules:
If a fothermo product is used in combination with the switching device, we recommend connecting 4 photovoltaic modules to the switching device.

Note : You can skip step 4 if you want to use the switching device. Then you do not need parallel plugs, as each photovoltaic module is connected individually to the switching device.
To connect several photovoltaic modules to a solar boiler or solar heating rod, a parallel connector is required. Depending on the number of photovoltaic modules, you will need a suitable parallel connector
1 photovoltaic module = no parallel connector
2 photovoltaic modules = 2-way parallel connector
3 photovoltaic modules = 3-way parallel connector
4 photovoltaic modules = 4-way parallel connector
Information on the freestanding storage tank : For the 200 liter or 300 liter freestanding storage tank, please note that you screw the photovoltaic modules onto 3 cables/inputs on the freestanding storage tank. So if you want to use 6 photovoltaic modules, you will need 3x 2-way parallel plugs.

Now select the appropriate length of the extension cable from the photovoltaic module to the solar boiler or solar heating rod.
Info : If you need to bridge a distance of 15 metres from the photovoltaic modules to the solar boiler / solar heating rod, you can purchase a 10 metre and a 5 metre cable and plug them together during installation.
Note maximum cable length : The distance between the photovoltaic modules and the boiler should not exceed 25 meters.
Note for users of the switching device : If you want to use the switching device, you will need an extension cable from each photovoltaic module to the switching device and another extension cable from the switching device to the solar boiler / solar heating rod. Linked to an explanatory image.
