Possible sets for the 1,000 W solar heating element

Option 1: Direct connection of the photovoltaic modules

The direct current from the photovoltaic modules allows you to produce inexpensive hot water directly, thus easily reducing your hot water costs.

The photovoltaic modules are simply plugged into the solar boiler. If you have more or less space, you can also increase or decrease the number of photovoltaic modules.

If you are connecting more than one photovoltaic module, you will need the 2-way, 3-way, or 4-way parallel connector. This allows for the easy parallel connection of multiple photovoltaic modules.

An extension cable bridges the distance between the photovoltaic modules and the solar heating element.

When the water in the water tank reaches the maximum temperature (max. 85 °C), the heating process is automatically stopped.

Option 2: 1,000 Watt solar heating element with excess feed-in

The photovoltaic power is primarily used for hot water production. Once the maximum temperature set on the solar heating element is reached, the system switches to a micro PV inverter.

This way, almost all the photovoltaic energy can be used to reduce hot water and electricity costs. Hardly any energy is lost.

Option 3: Hot water generation in a cascade system

The photovoltaic power is used for hot water production. First, the upper solar heating element is supplied with energy. As soon as it reaches the set maximum temperature, the system switches to a second solar heating element. This allows for natural and energy-efficient stratification of the hot water.

The installation is very simple. The photovoltaic modules are plugged directly into the upper solar heating element. The lower solar heating element is plugged into the outlet of the upper solar heating element.
