The fothermo solar storage tank is installed like any other storage tank.
As soon as the storage tank has been set up in a suitable location and filled with water, the photovoltaic modules can be plugged in. An extension cable connects the photovoltaic modules and the boiler. Several extension cables can also be combined (e.g. 10 m + 5 m = 15 m).
Several photovoltaic modules are connected using parallel connectors. Depending on the number of photovoltaic modules connected, different parallel connectors (2-way, 3-way, 4-way) are required.

An integrated heat exchanger allows easy connection to an existing heating system (gas, oil, pellets, heat pump). If the sun does not shine sufficiently, the hot water is generated via the auxiliary heating.
Alternatively, an electric heating element can be used for additional heating. This is screwed into the 1.5" thread on the storage tank. .
