The fothermo 30 liter hybrid boiler set is the perfect solution for your cost-effective and efficient hot water production. This set is ideal for single households.

Thanks to the photovoltaic modules that are connected directly to the hybrid boiler, considerable hot water costs can be saved. Depending on the number of photovoltaic modules, electricity price and hot water consumption, the solar boiler generates around 75% of the hot water required from photovoltaic energy.

The solar boiler replaces a classic electric boiler. If there is insufficient sunlight, the boiler automatically reheats the water using electricity from the mains.

A big advantage of the solar boiler is that it does not feed into the power grid, which means that the photovoltaic system does not need to be registered. The 550 W hybrid boiler offers a simple and effective solution to reduce your hot water costs while saving energy.

Installation of the solar boiler

The entire installation is very simple due to the plug connections and standard connections.

After the wall storage tank has been mounted on a suitable wall, it is connected to the hot and cold water pipes using 1/2 inch connections. Flexible hoses for this can usually be purchased at any hardware store.

As soon as the boiler is filled with water, the photovoltaic modules can be plugged in. An extension cable connects the photovoltaic modules to the boiler. Several extension cables can also be combined (e.g. 10 m + 5 m = 15 m).

Several photovoltaic modules are connected using parallel connectors. Depending on the number of photovoltaic modules connected, different parallel connectors (2-way, 3-way, 4-way) are required.
