Update - Return of the switching devices

Tuesday, November 4, 2024:

Hurray, we did it! The first new switching devices are ready. Now we at fothermo will replace all defective devices and send you a new one in the next few days. Important: Production and shipping are complex, so it may take some time until all devices are shipped. We ask for your patience and will do our best.

At the same time, we supply retailers who had devices in stock and also returned them. Therefore, the devices may already be available online before you receive yours. We generally work according to the "first in, first out" principle.

Current information on the complaint process

11.09.2024: Update - Delivery date
Are you affected by the recall of the switching device? We would like to inform you of the current status: We are currently working hard to deliver the new switching devices as quickly as possible. Unfortunately, there are delays in the procurement of some components, as we are also dependent on the delivery times of our suppliers.

We currently expect to be able to ship the switching devices at the end of November. We understand that you were hoping for a quicker solution, but due to external factors we have no direct influence on the timely delivery of all components.

21.06.2024: Shipping date of new switching devices
According to current status, the new switching devices are expected to be dispatched in 3 - 4 months.

21.06.2024: Recall of the fothermo switching device:
Incorrect installation of a micro PV inverter (especially reverse polarity of the connections) to the switching device can lead to overheating of the product. This results in a possible fire hazard, which in the worst case can lead to
a house fire with fatal risk. Other error patterns
cannot currently be ruled out.
Important: Disconnect the fothermo switching device from all photovoltaic modules. Further operation is not possible until further notice.
