FAQ
Frequently asked questions.
How does the solar hybrid boiler work?
It converts the power from directly connected solar panels straight into hot water. If there is not enough solar energy, the built-in 230 V backup heating takes over automatically. It combines solar energy with the convenience of a conventional electric boiler.
Do I need an inverter?
No. The boiler runs directly on the direct current from the panels. That is efficient and saves purchase and installation costs.
How many solar panels do I need?
For the 30 L boiler we recommend 2 panels with a total of 300–600 Wp, connected in parallel.
Does the boiler work without sun?
Yes. The built-in 230 V backup heating keeps the set temperature – even in bad weather or in winter.
Hot water, paid for by the sun.
