Which inverter works with the 1 kW solar immersion heater?

The 1 kW solar immersion heater turns solar power directly into hot water – no inverter needed. But what happens when the tank is already hot and the sun keeps shining? Then the surplus can flow into the grid via a micro inverter instead of going to waste. Choosing the right device is key.
What the inverter is for
Solar panels supply direct current. The 1 kW solar immersion heater uses it directly for heating. Once the water has reached its maximum temperature, the heater passes the solar power on. A micro inverter then converts it into alternating current and feeds it into the grid.
Why only devices from the whitelist?
Not every inverter can handle the power that the 1 kW solar immersion heater passes on. The devices on our whitelist meet the technical requirements. We have established their compatibility through internal testing, feedback from the field and manufacturer approvals.
We cannot guarantee reliable operation with other inverters. So please check the exact model designation when buying.

Register before feeding in
Anyone feeding power into the grid usually has to register the system – in Germany, for example, in the Marktstammdatenregister. Check the rules in your country. Heating only with the 1 kW solar immersion heater does not require registration.
